2007, May, 01: u²t is now ISO 9001:2000-certifiedBerlin, Germany: In May this year, u²t passed the initial ISO 9001:2000 registration audit in its first attempt without any nonconformity and open action items.This excellent result confirms the company`s management expertise and quality strategy in implementing the requirements and applying all processes well before requesting the registration. With the growing market demand and increased production throughput, it was the right time to get the quality management system approved by DQS - an internationally accredited ISO registrar. DQS confirmed the equally positive results of previous audits by u2t`s tier 1 system customers. During the four days of intensive review of processes and documentation, about 80% of u2t`s staff were interviewed and demonstrated the high quality awareness. u²t has now received the certificate, attesting the compliance of u2t`s processes and management system with the standard. With this, another significant milestone in the company history has been achieved. As the company`s quality policy states, u²t will continue to improve its processes and its business operations in order to ensure the best customer service and support. |
